The scientific name for the goldspotted oak borer, the Agrilus species that is causing mortality of oaks in California, has gone through several taxonomic changes in the past few years. It has most recently been changed from Agrilus coxalis to Agrilus auroguttatus.
Trap should be used without a lure and hung in oak trees.
